Always fresh bread. Wish they would bring back the donut/treat deal for 6 mixed/pick your own. I know there is a new Baker but I'm sure with the turnover of this deal they would make a killing. Always pick up the fresh crusty loaf for $2.29. The last shop was slim pickings with every loaf squish fingered the crusty end obviously when packing into bag. Not a good look. First time this has happened. Maybe a newbie.
I like it, it is usually the main reason I'm at Safeways. If no frills or co-op had a better set up... So I've never had an issue with the quality or price regarding the breads or buns. And the selection is what I like. Once you know, you know.
I love their black forest cakes. Also I find their prices competitive and they have the best/prime produce out of the other grocers.
Great sandwich’s! the woman who served us at the sandwich deli was very helpful, accommodating and just lovely all around!
