Homeground Coffee + Kitchen

The Good: Lovely coffee shop. Food is very good as well as the coffee. We had hash browns, hot chocolate, coffee, a sandwich, all tasty. Staff are young and pleasant. The atmosphere is social and the place seems busy most of the time. The Halloumi was nicel cooked but did not need the green sauce. The Bad: You may have to queue, as it's very popular. The Ugly: Nothing to report.

We visited during a trip to the Lake District, and years later I still remember the waffles with bacon and vanilla mascarpone. The combination was incredible and has stayed with me ever since. Sadly, we live too far away, otherwise we’d be here all the time! Looooooove it ! 😍😍😍

What an excellent perfect little find in Windermere. Situated in a the village center, this is a perfect little spot that gives off huge love to its Customers. We decided to have a late lunch in here and went for the Salmon...Wow absolutely incredible. The flavours the presentation and even the price is just perfect. Their coffee is also amazing..(I must say im some what of a serious coffee lover). It's one of the best I have tasted in the UK. ☕️❤️🫶 We even grabbed another the morning after. The staff are all brilliant and really friendly with options to sit in and take away. Even the quaint menus and the dice on the table make this little spot perfect for all visitors to the Lakes. Keep up the amazing work guys 🫶❤️

one of the best brunches i’ve had in a while. the homeground sarnie is so delicious, i loved the hash browns + avo + bacon combination! AND THE ONION MARMALADE! it cut through the saltiness so well. felt like it was a really good balance. the coffee is also amazing, we got an iced vanilla latte + dulche de latte. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Been a whole year since I visited Homeground and can say it was hands down some of the most memorable brunches I’ve ever had. We stayed in Windermere for 4 days & visited here twice - because it was truly that good. We ordered 4 dishes, all truly noteworthy: - lamb fat toast (rich, buttery, filling) - pancake fritters (unique seabuckthorn flavour with the tart passionfruit) - bacon maple ricotta waffle (stunning banana caramel against the tangy mascarpone) - bombay potato skillet with paneer (spicy & warming with plenty of chillis) Drinks were very refreshing - dulce de latte was worth ordering twice in fact!
