Bringing my son to BRAVE MMA has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. It's helped him in pretty much every aspect of life whether you go west or south you're in good hands. Kenny, KB and the team they have under them legit care about every students progress. We spend time at both locations I'd like to give a big thanks to junior coaches Prince & Nader as well as a big shout out to Deepak who just recently started coaching my son! Love the coaching style!!
I can’t say enough great things about Bravé MMA. From the moment we walked through the doors, the gym, coaches, and the entire Bravé community have been incredibly welcoming, encouraging, and inspiring. Our boys have gained so much more than just self-defence skills and discipline. Their confidence has grown beyond anything I could have imagined. The coaches have an incredible ability to recognize each child’s potential and encourage leadership, resilience, and personal growth, not just in their athletic ability, but in who they are as people. They genuinely care about every member, and the coaching team are outstanding role models. In the relatively short time we’ve been part of Bravé, we’ve seen such positive changes in both of our boys. I also can’t recommend their summer camps enough. They are the perfect combination of learning, training, and fun. Our boys came home every single day absolutely beaming, full of excitement and stories about everything they learned and experienced. If you’ve been thinking about trying MMA for your kids, or even for yourself, don’t hesitate. Bravé is the place to be. We are so grateful to be part of this amazing community, and I wholeheartedly give them five stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I trained at Brave for about 5 months before having to leave for summer work. From the moment I walked through the door I felt welcomed and motivated to learn. In the brief time I trained my skills and technique greatly improved. Comparing myself now to my abilities when I first started here is night and day. I briefly trained at a couple of other gyms in the past, but none of them come close to the attention to detail, dedication, coaching, and community that is found at Brave. If you are looking for an MMA gym in Edmonton, Brave is the place to be. I will certainly be back!
I started training BJJ at Bravé in spring of 2025 and trained there for 1 year. Unfortunately I had to cancel my membership recently because I moved. When I first walked in to the gym I had zero combat sports experience and wasn't sure what to expect. Any expectations I had going in were exceeded from day one. The staff was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and immediately made me feel like part of the team. Whether you are a complete newbie with no combat sports experience, or a seasoned practitioner looking for a new gym, Bravé is an excellent place to train if your goal is to get better at Jiu Jitsu What sets Bravé apart is that it never felt like a typical transactional coach-student relationship. Kenny and KB spent countless hours helping me outside of regular class time running drills, answering my questions, reviewing footage, and giving me extra guidance-even though I never paid anything beyond the standard monthly membership. Their passion for Jiu Jitsu is genuine, and they truly want every student to improve regardless of age, experience level, or membership tier. I'm incredibly grateful for everything I learned while at Bravé and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the gym to anyone looking for a welcoming, high-quality place to train.
Our son has been attending Bravè for a year now and absolutely loves this gym and all the people involved! We recently signed him up for one of their summer camps, and it was hands down the best camp he’s ever attended! Every single day he came home excited to tell us about what he learned, and he was genuinely disappointed when the week came to an end. The entire team does an incredible job of keeping the kids engaged, motivated, and having fun while teaching them so much more than martial arts. They foster self-confidence, kindness, respect, responsibility, and perseverance in a way that really sticks with the kids. It’s clear that everyone there truly cares about helping each child grow, both on and off the mat. We’re so grateful for the positive impact they’ve had on our son and can’t recommend this camp, and the gym as a whole, highly enough!
