Canadian Ging Wu Martial Arts Assn

My 3 children joined this club in 2002, and it has been an incredible journey ever since. They have grown tremendously, not only in skill but also in confidence and discipline, thanks to the guidance of Sifu Brendan Lee and the support of an outstanding group of students. The environment at the club truly feels like a family—welcoming, supportive, and inspiring. My kids had the opportunity to participate in numerous competitions across Edmonton and Calgary, where they achieved excellent results and won top prizes. Being part of this club has been a great benefit for my children in so many ways. I am truly grateful for the positive impact it has had on their development. I wish Ging Wu and the entire team continued success and all the very best in the future.

My two young children started Kung Fu here only a few months ago. It's clear that each Sifu here not only knows Kung Fu, but understands how to teach it in a way children respond well to. They are constantly working with, and correcting, each student gently but firmly. In addition to great teaching, they work hard on creating a vibrant community. I'm very glad Ging Wu was recommended to my family!

My kids have been going here since the beginning of the year and I think it's one of the best decisions we've made as a family. The facilities and equipment are amazing and exactly what is needed. Everything is always clean and well looked after. The instruction and classes themselves are perfectly tailored for each age group. It still amazes me that they are able to cater to such a wide age range and yet make every child feel important. The best thing about Ging Wu is the instructors and the environment they create. It’s a family club and they pride themselves on that. There isn't a rush to get belts, it's about learning it properly and intentionally. They care about developing good people, not just proficient students. However, if you look at the awards they win, they do pretty well at that too. The confidence and self-worth that my kids have developed since coming here is priceless.

My children have attended Ging Wu for over two years. The instructors are knowledgeable and kind, know how to keep kids interacting and engaged and having fun while learning discipline, respect, and kindness. Would highly recommend Ging Wu to anyone looking to get into martial arts, young or old.

A wonderful Martial Arts school. We are in both the kids and adult kung fu classes, and have only had great experiences. The instructors are dedicated, passionate, and caring, and have inspired us so much! We love the team/family feeling to the club, and highly recommend if you are looking for a martial arts school.
