So I originally had all three of my children signed up. One never gave it a shot, however they worked with us trying to encourage him and they were amazing after several months to terminate his contract. My oldest participated for 10 months, and again worked with us to terminate her contract once she was done. My middle child has been here for a year, she absolutely loves it here. She has learned so much, and I truly believe being here has helped her in her daily life. I truly appreciate the opportunity they have given her. She can now participate with boys, even though a year ago she hated all boys. Her attitude has immensely improved, inside and out. They've changed the course of her life for the better. They've always been so polite, and understanding, here's to another year! Thank you!

Arashi-Do Martial Arts, located at 12730 St Albert Trail, Edmonton, Alberta, has proven to be an exceptional martial arts school. Our family member has been training here, and we are thoroughly impressed with the quality of the coaching staff. Notably, Coach Mike stands out for his professionalism, courteousness, and diligence in addressing any questions we have. If he doesn’t have an immediate answer, he ensures to find it promptly. The dojo is designed thoughtfully to allow parents to comfortably watch their family members train. The seating arrangements are both comfortable and convenient. The facility itself is highly professional, fully stocked with necessary supplies, and all equipment is impeccably maintained. Having transitioned from another martial arts school, our experience at Arashi-Do has been outstanding. The training our family member has received surpasses our previous experiences by a significant margin. The dojo is consistently clean and well-organized, with everything in its place. The front desk staff, especially the young woman who assists us, is exceptional in addressing any needs that arise. We hold the gym and its staff in the highest regard and are extremely pleased to be part of this community. For anyone considering training in Muay Thai, karate, or Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Arashi-Do Martial Arts is an excellent choice. Their classes are in high demand, so I recommend enrolling without delay to secure your spot. The sense of professionalism, belonging, and respect here is unparalleled. I wholeheartedly recommend Arashi-Do Martial Arts to beginners, intermediates, and advanced practitioners alike. Thank you to the entire team for providing such an outstanding environment for martial arts training.

My kids have been training at Arashi Do for over two years now, and they absolutely love it! Renshi Mike is an amazing teacher — he’s patient, encouraging, and knows how to motivate the kids to do their best. The assistant instructors are fantastic too and bring so much positive energy to every class. Annie at the front desk always goes above and beyond to help with scheduling and questions; she keeps everything running smoothly. You can really tell everyone here cares about the students and their progress. Highly recommend Arashi Do to any parent looking for a supportive and fun martial arts community!

We moved to arashi do north from another gym and are thrilled with the decision. Nothing but good things to say about this gym. Our kids do BJJ there and Professor Mike and his family run an amazing club. All the senior coaches that help out with classes do a great job. Professor Mike’s coaching style is exactly what we were looking for. An awesome combination of fun and strict. He holds the kids to a standard of demonstrating responsibility and respect. He often engages 1-on-1 with the kids during class, establishing rapport with them. Spends time with more reserved or nervous kids, drawing them into the group. As for the facility itself, the gym is well equipped, there is comfortable seating in the viewing area for parents, change rooms. There is a small games room for siblings or kids waiting for their class, with a couple old school arcade games, books, magnetic tiles, etc.

The Arashi-Do North which my daughter attends is exceptional in every sense. From the moment you walk in, you feel the strong sense of leadership, respect, and family that defines this school and that feeling is real. This dojo is genuinely fantastic family, not just in words, but in the way everyone treats and supports one another. The instructors lead with integrity and purpose, setting a powerful example both on and off the mat. They genuinely care about each student’s growth, taking the time to build confidence, discipline, and character, not just martial arts skill. What truly sets this dojo apart is its family atmosphere. Students support and encourage one another, parents feel welcomed, and everyone is treated with respect. Over the past 18 months, my daughter has shown remarkable growth in all aspects of her character, confidence, discipline, resilience, and respect because of this environment. This dojo is more than a training facility, it’s a community that builds character, leadership, and lifelong values. We are proud and grateful to be part of it.
