My 4 YO have been attending jiu jitsu classes here and the experience has been excellent. The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and really focus on helping students understand the techniques rather than just going through the motions. Classes are well structured, with a good balance of drilling, live rolling, and practical instruction. The atmosphere is welcoming for beginners but still challenging enough for more advanced students. I have noticed real improvement in my skills, confidence, and fitness since joining. The training partners are respectful and supportive, which makes a big difference. Overall, this is a top quality place to learn jiu jitsu and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in martial arts.
As a parent of a child on the autism spectrum, finding the right coach felt overwhelming at first. From day one, Coach Carlos never gave us a reason to doubt. His patience, understanding, and genuine care have made such a big difference in my son’s journey. He doesn’t just teach techniques. He helps build confidence, connection, discipline, and real life skills that my son now applies socially and emotionally every day. Being part of the Arashido family has truly been a blessing. The support, encouragement, and welcoming environment go far beyond training. It really feels like a community where families feel included and supported. Coach Carlos, thank you for believing in my son and helping him grow in ways that mean so much to us. Seeing him become more confident and disciplined makes me incredibly happy and proud. We are deeply grateful.
We’ve had a great experience at Arashi-Do! Our kids are almost 5 and 8. The instructors are fantastic with the kids and do a great job making it fun while building confidence, discipline, respect, and perseverance. We’ve really noticed a difference in both kids’ confidence since they started, and it’s been great to watch them become more comfortable trying new things. We’re really happy with the program and the team at Arashi-Do West Edmonton!
We enrolled our daughter in jujitsu October 2025. We have seen so much change in her attitude and confidence. The instructors do an incredible job creating a supportive and disciplined environment and it really shows in the kids. We are so grateful for the impact they've had on her growth.
Just started training at Arashi-Do with my son Lucas and we’re hooked! The whole crew makes new members feel welcome from day one, the classes are well structured for all levels, and Lane is an excellent instructor. Great spot for families looking to train together!
