Six months in and I've had an amazing experience at this gym, and a huge part of that is because of my personal trainer, Joey DeNoble. His knowledge, encouragement, and attention to detail have made a huge difference in my life. My past sports injuries no longer hold me back as he's always focused on proper form, functionality and he pushes me to do my best without overdoing it. My workouts are challenging, enjoyable and the homework programs on my non-training session days are mapped out for me. Thanks to his guidance, I've become far more consistent than I ever thought I could be. What really sets Joey apart is that he genuinely cares about his clients' success. He celebrates with me, keeps me accountable, and I've seen improvements not only in my physical fitness but also in my overall well-being. He's become a life Coach!! Movati itself is clean, well-equipped, fantastic Staff and has a real welcoming atmosphere, but it's the outstanding coaching that keeps me coming back. If you're looking for a trainer who is truly invested in helping you succeed, I can't recommend this place, and especially Joey highly enough. It's one of the best decisions I've made for my health.
I've been coming to this gym since they opened, and it's been a great experience from day one. The gym is always clean, there's a good variety of classes, the instructors are amazing and the overall vibe is positive and welcoming. I've accidentally left things behind a couple of times, and every time my stuff was either kept safe by the staff or returned by someone who found it. That says a lot about the people here and makes it feel like a safe place. Shout-out to Mag and the whole morning crew. They're always friendly and make everyone feel welcome, even at 5AM! The room attendants deserve credit too for keeping the gym clean and running smoothly. It's not easy creating a positive atmosphere that early in the morning, but they do it every day. Love this gym and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to work out.
I’ve been going to Movati Athletic Albany for a while now, and I can’t say enough good things about the staff. Every single person I’ve interacted with has been friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cares about the members. The front desk team is always so kind and attentive. Even when they’re dealing with difficult situations or being hassled by members, they remain calm, professional, and treat everyone with respect. They really set the tone for such a positive environment. The personal trainers are also fantastic. They’re always willing to offer helpful tips and workout advice, even if you’re not in a training session with them. You can tell they truly care about everyone’s safety and want to help members reach their fitness goals. My favorite part of Movati is definitely the group fitness classes. There’s such an incredible variety that there’s something for everyone, and every class is both challenging and fun. The instructors bring so much energy and expertise, making each workout an experience I look forward to. I’m honestly surprised the classes aren’t even busier because the instructors are that amazing! Thank you to the entire team for creating such a welcoming, supportive, and motivating place to work out. It really makes a difference, and I appreciate everything you do.
As a guy who has been frequenting gyms for the last 15 years, Great gym! Very high end, clean and modern looking. I like that they have unlimited classes such as hot yoga. The swimming pool and cold plunge and steam room are my favorite. The gym itself is really nice with lots of weights and equipment. I do find the equipment for the most part good but some of the machines are a bit weird and just don’t feel great, but that’s only a few. Overall great gym!
