10/10 highly recommended. Steve is an excellent personal trainer and a genuinely great person to work with. He’s extremely knowledgeable, patient, and understanding, which makes every session productive and motivating. He takes the time to tailor each training plan to your specific fitness goals, experience level, and workout schedule, so everything feels realistic and sustainable. I’ve felt supported and confident throughout the process and would recommend him to anyone looking to improve their fitness

I’ve been training with Steven for about 7 months now. I can confidently say he’s one of the best trainers out there. He’s professional, personable and knowledgeable. I’ve made amazing progress under his guidance and support. I appreciate that he takes the time to explain the different aspects of the exercises he gives and can switch to alternatives if something isn’t working based on my own limitations. If you’re looking for a trainer to help you with your goals, I highly recommend Onyx!

I started training with Steve in 2019, and I have never looked back. I remember meeting Steve for the first time and I immediately felt comfortable. With each training session I grew stronger, and I felt more confident in my abilities. Throughout the years I have continued to train with Steve on a weekly basis, and I can assuredly say that he is very knowledgeable and passionate in what he does. Training sessions are fun! I also walk away learning something I can apply to the next session. Steve expresses a genuine interest in understanding the needs of each athlete, their goals and success. He always takes the time to ask questions and check- in. Steve places thought and effort into his programming that is built on integrity, communication, and continuous learning. I am grateful to have found him as a coach. In 2024, I stepped onto a World platform for the first time, and competed at World Championships - something I never thought possible. 💪😊

I met Steven through working out at evolve and after a while of me failing to be consistent at the gym, I looked to Steven for some coaching and it was one of the best things I've done for my life. I used to be pretty fit when I was younger but lost that passion for the gym, trying to return and find a love for the gym again can be a daunting task if you don't really remember what you're supposed to do. Stephen put my macros together, helped me understand the nutrition aspect but also made working out enjoyable, I managed to hit my best PR to date with his help and lost 35lbs in the process. Steven is a REAL student of the game, he will take the time to explain why you should be doing what you're doing, how it benefits you and he will help keep you accountable. If you're looking for someone to help guide you on a journey in the gym, I don't think there is anyone else I could reccomend other than Steven.

Steven is a great coach for powerlifting, bodybuilding, and athletic conditioning. He provides candid feedback and doesn’t sugar coat it! I highly recommend Steven for those new to lifting as well as advanced athletes.
