Edmonton West Animal Hospital

We’ve trusted Edmonton West Animal Hospital with our pets for over 10 years, and the care has been consistently exceptional. Their compassion and support has helped immensely improve the quality of life of all of our pets. They have helped support our furry friends through all of their difficulties, big and small and were especially caring and sympathetic during our pets most difficult times. Our cat Tiger lived until she was 19. Their proactive and attentive care helped her navigate several health problems and eventually allowed us help her peacefully cross the rainbow bridge. More recently, our dog Banshee, age 13, has been given a new lease of life thanks to their expert management of chronic pancreatitis and hypothyroidism. Thanks to their treatment, Banshee gets to engage in all of her favourite old hobbies that her illness briefly prevented her from enjoying. Finally, they went above and beyond in helping us transport our pets to the UK. In order to transport our pets, we needed to ensure they were in good health and that all of their correct documentation was in order. Despite how complicated this could be at times, they helped support us through all of this. We are incredibly grateful for their compassion, expertise, and dedication over the years. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a veterinary team that genuinely cares. :)

Dr. Robert King treated our small cat at five months old for Poisoning after she drank medication for my child. The clinic was extremely fast at getting our kitten in dealing with the situation calmly assessing things giving me a full rundown with the actual doctor and giving me upfront costs as there was no surprise Bill they took very good care of her all day and dr. King made sure to touch base with me. I felt like I was heard understood and valued. It was a warm inviting atmosphere and I am generally grateful that they were able to help us out.

My Auggie is a spicy gal. She has fought treatment every step of the way but the staff at Edmonton West Animal Hospital have made this process so much easier. They do not surprise you with costs and will give you a full breakdown of treatment prior to giving the treatment. They are empathic and very kind to cat-moms like me with anxiety about these sorts of things. From the ladies at the front desk, to the vet techs, to the doctors, every person in this business has compassion and empathy like no other. We thank you!!

We had our dog spayed on Monday at Edmonton West Animal Hospital & Spay/Neuter Centre, and we are truly grateful for the amazing care we received. I was extremely worried because my dog is like my child, but the staff’s professionalism, kindness, and compassion immediately gave me peace of mind. Everything was explained clearly, and my dog was treated with so much love and gentleness. Special thanks to Lina from Ukraine — she was incredibly attentive, supportive, and caring. She guided us through this stressful experience and made it so much easier for both me and my dog. Thank you to the entire team for your empathy, professionalism, and outstanding care. Highly recommended!

My dog Eazy has been seen at this vet since he got fixed. They treat him so good. The doctors are amazing and have never tried to upsell a test or treatment option just to make money. Eazy goes every 4 weeks to get nails trimmed and they treat him so good. He struggled with them doing them at first because he doesn't like nails done but they have him so comfortable that he is actually starting to trust them. Their patients and calm presence it's amazing. I am so thankful for this clinic and would never take my animals to anyone else. .
