I had an excellent experience with my physiotherapist today. Graham Glennie was incredibly patient, took the time to explain everything clearly, and answered all of my questions. Before my appointment, I wasn’t feeling very confident about my healing process, but he put my mind at ease and gave me reassurance that I’m on the right track. His knowledge and professionalism were evident throughout the entire visit, and I left feeling much calmer and more optimistic about my recovery. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend him

Any woman requiring pelvic floor physio needs a balanced combination of professional knowledge/procedure and an ability to deliver this with kindness and comfort. Candace has that dialled. Really great experience overall. She came highly recommended to me from several people and I was not disappointed!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ JAMES DEAN — THE BODY WHISPERER I have known James Dean professionally since he opened his first St. Albert clinic in 2001. More than 25 years later, I can say this with confidence: James has an extraordinary understanding of the human body. I call him THE BODY WHISPERER. When everyone else seems to be shouting “SURGERY,” James asks, “What can we still make this body do?” Can we strengthen the muscles supporting the problem? Improve flexibility and mobility? Retrain movement? Stretch what is tight, strengthen what is weak, and change how the body compensates? James doesn't just ask WHERE does it hurt? He wants to know WHY. He watches how you stand, walk and move and sees connections between muscles, joints, tendons, ligaments and movement that most of us would never recognize. Sometimes he starts working on something you never imagined was connected to the problem — and suddenly it all makes sense. That's the Body Whisperer. But James is much more than a remarkable physiotherapist. James builds. He builds stronger bodies. He builds confidence. He builds teams. He teaches at the University of Alberta, provides practicums and mentors future physiotherapists. And above all, he builds community. He is a teacher, mentor, family man and community builder who is always giving, supporting, teaching and encouraging others. Perhaps that is what defines James best: he doesn't simply look at what is wrong — he looks at what can be made stronger. And that applies to bodies, students, colleagues and community. The wonderful team he has built at The Joint Physiotherapy reflects that same philosophy: knowledgeable, welcoming, caring and genuinely invested in people. There are physiotherapists. There are excellent physiotherapists. And then there is James Dean — THE BODY WHISPERER. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five stars aren't enough for 25+ years of strengthening bodies, developing people and building community.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I'm so happy I found Christine at The Joint. Dealing with TMJ symptoms for over 15 years, I had never found the right care plan or physiotherapist to help me actually start seeing positive progress. I began seeing Christine a few months ago now, and her treatments + exercise plan she's created for me has completely changed the course of my TMJ. I'm at the proper baseline (and sometimes even better) for jaw range of motion; something I have not experienced in over a decade. I strongly recommend Christine and The Joint. I hope any other TMJ sufferers can have the same success that I have had.

If you want a first class physio experience, then this is the place for you. I can't say enough about the team from 'The Joint'! Seriously, they are so wonderful. Everyone does such a first rate job! I appreciate the lovely front desk staff who work hard behind the scenes making sure I'm booked in and reminded of my appointments. James Dean is absolutely soooo fantastic. He's one of a kind and his knowledge and experience is second to none. In a matter of weeks, he led me through the healing journey for a chronic injury that I've had for over 5 years! (No other physio clinic seemed able to figure out how to heal my injury)! You will NEVER regret your decision to make 'The Joint' your first and only stop for physiotherapy or any other service that these folks also provide. I also want to extend a very special thank you to Mattie for being so absolutely lovely and assisting me with the treatments I undertook during each session. Mattie is a tireless ball of energy who greets each day (and patient) with a warm and welcome smile and she certainly deserves a huge raise ++ in my opinion (James - plz take note) for taking such great care of me and all her patients at the clinic. For what it's worth - The Joint is the ONLY place in town!! Willie Chabaniuk
