Very authentic Chinese noodle place! The noodle texture is bouncy, and cooked just right. We ordered the pork mixed noodles, and the braised beef noodles. It is authentic spicy, so take the spicy level seriously! The mixed noodles flavour was SO good!!! The customer service is top notch as well! The aunties are so nice, and they noticed my husband put tissue to cover his shirt, and they offered him a disposable apron 🥹 So thoughtful! Will bring back the rest of my family next time 💛

Great little Chinese noodle place! The restaurant is quite small, so you may have to wait for a table at busy times, but I think it’s worth it. I ordered the noodle soup with dumplings on the side, and everything was really good. Just keep in mind that some of the food can be a bit spicy, so be careful depending on your spice tolerance. If you’re nearby, definitely give this place a try. I probably wouldn’t plan an entire trip around it, but it’s absolutely worth making a detour for if you’re in the area

Super friendly service and probably one of the best Chinese soups I’ve had in Edmonton. Not many tables in the joint but fast turn over. It was busy at the time I was there, so decided to take it to go…as good as it still was, I bet it would’ve been even better dining in. I love that you can pick your spice level. Definitely recommend trying this place but parking is definitely a bit of an issue with the construction on their block.

A culturally authentic restaurant space and satisfying bowls that make the reason to return easy to understand. We came for the food and would gladly come back for the same reason. A nice extra is the free non-stop noodles. For a fuller picture — Chongqing Noodle House, Edmonton, Downtown / 104 Street & 101 Avenue offers a straightforward, enjoyable dining experience where the food is clearly the main draw. The service felt practical and efficient, and the restaurant space itself added to the visit with an authentic atmosphere that suited the food well and made the experience feel grounded and genuine. We came for the food and would return for the same reason. The beef noodle, beef brisket, and egg and shrimp soup each brought their own kind of comfort to the table. The beef bowls were hearty, rich, and satisfying, while the egg and shrimp soup offered a lighter option that still felt flavourful and complete. The free non-stop noodle refills added an extra sense of generosity and value to a meal that was already easy to enjoy. What stands out here is how honest the whole experience feels. The authentic setting, practical service, and strong, comforting bowls all work together to create a place that knows what it does well. An easy downtown spot to return to when the craving for a good noodle soup hits.

I seen this place on a fb reel as a recommend place to eat in Edmonton. Was fantastic. Small warning. Mild spice is still considerably spicy (for those wimps like myself) took my sister here yesturday. Shared the highly recommended braised beef noodle bowl. A plate of dumplings. And a plate of sliced meat. All 1 serving of each dish between 2 people and we were stuffed. All the dishes with so flavorful and delicious. The waitress serving us was very kind. Helpful recommending dished and walking us threw the QR code menu. All in all great littke place. Highly recommend. Also. Food came out incredibly fast.
