La Poutine

Decent poutine for Alberta. Cheese curds are good. At first glance, looks like lots of cheese on the poutine, however, when you mix it up and start eating, it's minimal quantity. When you are used to Québec poutine which over-flows with cheese without asking for extra, this will seem light on cheese. The tradition 'Québec' gravy does not taste like gravy from Québec, it's rather very salty. The fries are okay. Overall for an Alberta poutine, it's acceptable. Of course, it's not comparable to a Québec poutine. Staff was very friendly. No bathroom, which seems odd for a restaurant.

Traditional routine price for extra cheese plus 14 plus 4 dollars 18 . Value probably a 7 out of ten . Bang for your buck no so much especially after you pay for extra cheese. Disappointed yo say the least . First time here and probably the last . Lived in Edmonton for over 25 plus years . Feeling really taken by the lack of value for my hard earned money . Sorry have to be honest with you .

Brought my intended parents (im a surrogate) to here for their very first canadian poutine. They are fron london England 🇬🇧, and they LOVED it. It was also my first time trying the establishment and I cant eat poutine anywhere else now 💜 met the owner and he was just amazing. Although I think they need a bigger seating area it fit us just fine 🙂

Our family visited La Poutine for supper with our 3 young kids. It is a cute, clean, welcoming little shop. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. We sat outside and our food was brought to us which was very much appreciated. The kids had the mini classic poutines, my husband had the Perogie, and I had the Quebecoise 2.0. The portions were great for the price. They all tasted fantastic and had all the makings of a well balanced poutine. We will definitely be back. Thank you, La Poutine!

The lady behind the counter was friendly and nice. The poutine was amazing !!!!!! Soooo good best poutine I’ve ever had. Would definitely come back and get something different as well.
