Alberta Aviation Museum

Very nice museum with excellent volunteers and staff. It’s quite a large place with ample room to move around and see exhibits. There is also a really neat simulator that kids can try that accurately mimics flying a real airplane. We went during open cockpit days where kids can actually go inside the planes and sit in the cockpit. Pretty neat to say the least. Family pass was $67 which was quite affordable. Definitely worth checking out!

Spectacular place for anyone who loves everything aviation and wants to learn the history Also great place to spend an hour or two. There is lots to see, and you can get a guided tou. They also have a simulation for young people. Would recommend if you are visiting Edmonton Canada 🇨🇦. Staff are also super friendly.

I had a wonderful experience at the museum. Rick was kind enough to show me around, gear the visit to my specific interests and even threw in some jokes for free! I only wish I had organized myself to have been able to stay for longer. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. There is a bathroom on site. The gift shop has some cool things. I highly recommend a visit for newbies in Edmonton!

We had a great time visiting the Alberta Aviation Museum! It was really interesting to learn about the different types of aircraft, airlines, and how aviation has evolved over the years. There’s a lot to see and learn, and it was an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend getting a guide to make the most of your visit rather than just walking around on your own. Definitely worth checking out if you’re interested in aviation or history!

What an interesting place. They don't just have details of the planes. They have pioneering stores of early 1920 bush flight into the most inhospitable winter conditions. I loved it.
