I took the family to see the Neon Sign Museum one evening. The kids loved seeing the different and bright colours of the neon signs, and I enjoyed telling them of some the history of the companies in Edmonton that no longer exist, but these signs are a part of their legacy and history of Edmonton. You definitely want to check it out at night while strolling along the sidewalks.
Despite the name, it’s actually outdoors and free to have a look. Not a huge area but still nice. In summary, lots of outdoor neon signs from the past. A great spectacle to see and very satisfying. Plenty of bars around to grab a drink after. Delightful spot to check out
Very cool. Best to go at night when you can see them in the dark. It's free and you can just drive or walk around it as it is on the outside of the building. Best to go when there is not an event at the arena so there's less traffic for you to deal with.
What a great idea, the signs look great at night, only thing is how sketchy the downtown is at night....sorry in the daytime as well!
Beautiful interesting part of Edmonton. Rented a turo with a vehicle I couldn't afford to take pics here. Just so I can flex on people I don't know. I could see how getting a good shot would be difficult. Bonus was a history of the signs that were featured and it's all free
