Mill Creek Outdoor Swimming Pool

Everything changes, usually for the worse, but not Millcreek pool. After an absence of many years, I again, frequented the pool last summer. The renovation is smart. Everything is clean and in good repair, but they left what everyone has always loved about this historic outdoor pool. As I sat in the sunshine, watching families splash around, it could have been 1965, 85 or 2025. It’s just simple, wholesome, pure fun. I love that patrons can bring their own picnics, lawn chairs and beach blankets. I love that there are frozen treats onsite, to buy. I love that this pretty pool remains the jewel of the Millcreek ravine. You don’t have to wish that it was still the same as your golden era, because it still is.

I like the shrouded area it’s in as most of the noise of traffic is blocked out by the trees and lower elevation. It also feels nostalgic and looks like an 80s pool still, which I really like. Love to come here often during the summers now. Staff are also pretty nice.

I love the location ,the ambiance of bushy environment being like u are in the middle of no where. The change room is clean and the life guards are super active in the pool area. Not so crowded when we visit and my kids loved it and enjoyed the last 2 hours before they close. I highly recommend this place to anyone to try it . Super cool place especially the location. love it !

I love the new renovated swimming pool. Very chill and relaxing ambiance. Clean and not so crowded area. Close to the nature. It’s a hidden Gem within the city of Edmonton. It’s a place to go to with family and friends.Alcohol is not allowed but you can bring your own food from outside but be responsible to C.A.Y.G (Clean as you go).
