Animal Ark Pet Clinic

The team at Animal Ark is nothing short of exceptional! From the support staff to Dr Natalia (and her lovely dog), everyone is warm, empathetic, helpful, and even thoughtful. The guilt I have felt at times about my dogs suffering has been really hard to manage; my dogs are so stoic when it comes to pain and hide it really well, so it’s hard to know until things become dire for them. The team at Animal Ark understands that having a sick pet is really stressful, especially when finances are tight, and they treat owners with so much care and compassion, warmth and friendliness. Dr Natalia eased my anxiety, ensured I was informed about my dog’s condition, next steps, and prognosis. She really takes the time to explain and help you understand what is happening to your pet: the symptoms, potential causes, diagnostic options, and once diagnostics are complete, the medical treatments and medications available as well aftercare and prognosis. Knowing what comes next and what to expect is comforting, I love how the whole team together offers emotional support and such a welcoming environment - never have I actually enjoyed taking my dog to the vet until this week with Dr Natalia. While the expense of diagnostic imaging and surgical treatments are steep for me, i understand and value the education, expertise, and experience required to medically assess and treat my pets and I value the services Animal Ark provides: excellent medical care, expertise, and advice. I really cannot say enough about what a wonderful clinic Animal Ark is. Plus the pricing is reasonable, well explained, and quotes are detailed. I’ll be bringing all of mt pets to Animal Ark from now on, and recommending them to others too - they’ve got a loyal customer in me! I’ve had dogs for decades and (now a cat too) and with the exception of one other remarkable veterinarian, I’ve have had some pretty terrible, sometimes traumatic, experiences with veterinary teams being cold, not explaining things, and even being cruel. But Animal Ark is something special- I actually enjoyed going to the vet!

I wanna leave a review on Animal Ark in Castledowns they actually took care of my dog scruffy probably 10 years ago. Scruffy had pancreatic cancer they help me take care of him for five or six years with insulin so much care Deneen Which I probably spelt wrong has been there since day one she is awesome. She is very caring in Covid. My calico cat passed away. She came out of the car and got her and then just recently my baby of three years in eight months died because of West Edmonton Animal Hospital she came and she got her from the car and she made it less painful. They care so much. They’re great people I want to thank them for everything they have done for my animals and words cannot express it enough. I will never take a pet anywhere than Animal Ark.

Our baby is in good hands here and that is clear each and every time we bring her here. We have total trust in the staff here. They are compassionate, smart, caring, attentive and patient. I am so glad when we adopted her that we brought her here for her first check up because she has been in great health since coming here. I would do anything for my cat and I love her like family, so I’m glad the staff here can appreciate that and give her the love and care I know she deserves and needs. Thank you!

Wonderful vet clinic. Very nice and clean clinic. All the ladies at the front desk were absolutely amazing over the phone while booking my appointment, also while we visited the clinic for my dogs appointment. Took my 1 1/2yr old dog in today for a spay appointment and the vet (Dr Mackowiak) was absolutely amazing. Zora is a really nervous/anxious dog and Dr Mackowiak was so wonderful with her. You can tell she really cares about her patients. Prices were reasonable as well. Including spay, pain medication & a cone for a 76.lb dog it cost us just a little over 600.oo We will absolutely be returning to Animal Ark Pet Clinic for further care for Zora. Thankyou to everyone for taking such good care of Zora and providing her with great care.

They really care, the support staff and veterinarians are all absolutely fantastic. We have taken all our pets here for the past 17 years.
