Castledowns Vision Centre | Optometrist Edmonton North

I had a wonderful experience setting up an eye exam quickly. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and made the entire process very simple, pain free, and fast. I also got a new pair of glasses and Susan seemed to always know the style I was looking for before I even found the frames. She also helped me adjust to another frame decision due to pricing. Doctor was super friendly and very helpful. Really fun and informative guy. The administrator and technician were just delightful to be around and super nice. They even cleaned my current glasses for free which was a lovely surprise. You guys gave me a lovely experience so I’ll leave you this lovely review. See you guys in two years, I’m definitely coming back.

I can't believe the terrible experience I had at Castledowns Vision Center. Last year, I took my son to see the eye doctor there based on a friend's recommendation, and he was fine. So, I thought I'd buy a pair of Nano glasses from them since I've always trusted the brand for its quality. Big mistake. Less than a year later, the paint on the frame started peeling off, and the rubber on the ear tips just completely fell apart. I went back to the store expecting them to help, and what do I get? The manager outright pushed back on my claim and refused to send them to the manufacturer for a warranty! I told her that I've been buying Nano glasses for years, and I've *never* seen this kind of poor quality, but it didn’t matter. And these aren’t cheap frames, either! The complete lack of customer service is beyond frustrating. It’s not just the glasses—it's the fact that the store doesn’t care about standing behind the products they sell.

The Dr.was very good. The glasses are working great. The staff are awesome! Very pleasant & always smiling. They went above & beyond when I left my purse there. They tried to get in touch with me but could not get me. They even tried to bring my purse to me… to no avail. Finally..they got in touch with my husband. They stayed after hours until I could get to them. WHAT A TEAM!!!! 👍🫂

A place where you never feel rushed. From the optimistic Dr. Ullah to Susan the lady who helps you pick your frames and knows everything about glasses to the front end staff all very friendly. A place you can witness professionalism and expertise at work

Pleasant and professional. Many styles of glasses to choose from. Susan was very helpful with submitting to insurance. Will definitely return.
