Helio Optometry

April 13, 2026 - I had been wearing my glasses for two years when the temple tip broke. I randomly went to Helio to check if they could repair it. Ray assisted me and provided multiple options, and I was pleasantly surprised that the repair ended up costing me nothing. He truly went above and beyond. Thank you for your excellent service and support! everyone there was very professional.

I had an excellent experience at Helio Optometrist. From the moment I walked in, the entire team made me feel welcomed and cared for. Dr. Erica Lei was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I fully understood what was going on with my eyes, which I really appreciated. It’s rare to find someone who can be both so informative and easy to understand. The reception staff were also wonderfully kind, patient, and very helpful throughout the whole process. A special thank you as well to the team member who helped me choose my glasses. They were extremely insightful and guided me through every detail, making what can sometimes feel overwhelming into a smooth and enjoyable experience. Their knowledge about everything related to glasses really stood out. Overall, I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for top-quality eye care and exceptional customer service!

We had a really great experience wit Dr McKenzie! They treated us all with 5 star service. Everything was quick and efficient! The staff was kind and helpful. Dr McKenzie was attentive, thorough, super friendly and personable! The biggest stand out for me was how well my daughter was treated! They offered her colouring, a drink and a comfortable spot to hang out while we had appointments! She actually had fun for the exam! The extra care taken for her stood out for us. Thank you to all of the team! It makes a world of a difference as a parent to come to appointments and see that your little is treated with the same importance as an adult!

I have nothing but positive reviews for the following clinic. Yesterday, I was accepted for an emergency appointment without scheduling. The service and the doctor (Mackenzie) did an outstanding job. Highly recommended.

In over 2 decades of wearing glasses, I have never had such a great experience as I did at Helio. Dr. Matthew was great with the exam, very thorough but explained everything in language I could understand. Ray did an amazing job showing me the selection and adjusting the frames to fit, like I said, in 2 decades of getting glasses, no one has ever bothered to reshape the legs of the glasses to fit my face. They usually put the lenses in and give them to me and wished me luck. Getting text updates for my glasses was also very helpful.
