Dr. McDonald is truly an outstanding family doctor because he takes the time to listen carefully, explains everything clearly, and genuinely cares about his patients’ well-being. I always feel reassured knowing that both my son and I are in such good hands. It means so much to have a healthcare team that treats you with kindness and patience as it really makes a huge difference for families like ours. We are incredibly grateful for Dr. McDonald and his super amazing, very helpful medical office assistants (Emmie, Monica, and Leja). These three incredible ladies are always welcoming and accommodating. Whether it’s booking appointments, answering questions, or helping me with paperwork (especially Emmie! 😊), they make everything easy, and stress-free. Visiting the clinic honestly feels less like an appointment and more like being cared for by people who truly want to help. And not to forget Nurse Donna, who went above and beyond to make sure I was able to meet my referrals to the dietician and gynecologist. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a caring, attentive, and professional family doctor. This clinic truly deserves more than five stars ⭐️
I took my 8 month old here for an ear infection as my local clinic was closed. He didn’t wear gloves or wash his hands, he was very aggressive pulling my baby’s ears as she was crying and telling her to stop. He then asked me “do you want antibiotics? It’s a mild infection”. I got antibiotics for her but when we left I noticed her ear was twice as red. Never bring children here. He has no patience.
It’s a long overdue when we ( myself and my wife) should put a review of Dr McDonald medical practice. In one sense- exceptional doctor. Don’t be deceived by appearance ( Europeans have that very often, but to know that you either have to be from Europe by yourself or travel intensely and know other countries and cultures). Going back to the core. McDonald is a born helper who really cares about your illness. We experience minor things but long time ago we recommend Dr McDonald to one of our friends- Mark Totan ( I’m not ashamed to put the name because the story is real and can be easily verified, so you have a name. You can even Google who Mark Totan was ). Anyway Mark visited few doctors and they were not giving any hope. Only McDonald took care of him and extended Mark life few good years. Any one would be thankful for that. And Mark was . We are also very thankful for having a Doctor who really cares
Dr. MacDonald is an exceptional doctor who puts your mind at ease the moment you meet him. His kind, approachable nature and quick sense of humor make every visit a positive experience. He’s straight to the point, offering clear explanations and thoughtful advice that leave you feeling confident in your care. I’ve visited Dr. MacDonald numerous times and have never waited more than 15 minutes, which speaks volumes about his respect for patients’ time. His staff is just as impressive—polite, smart, and incredibly professional. Together, they create a warm, efficient environment that takes the stress out of medical visits. If you’re looking for a doctor who genuinely listens, cares, and ensures you feel at ease, Dr. MacDonald is the perfect choice. Highly recommend!
I would give this clinic no stars if I could. The only good thing about our time with Dr. McDonald wasn't even Dr. McDonald, it was the traveling nurse with the PCN. She was absolutely lovely. However, Dr. McDonald should not be practicing medicine. He refused to fulfill my husband's ongoing prescription for something prescribed to him by a specialist, and hung up on him when he called to talk about it. When he scribbled out the single refill he was required to give him, complaining all the while, he didn't even write it properly. He also was very gruff and put his hands on me without warning when doing an initial exam, and while he wasn't doing anything inappropriate, it was very alarming considering I had just met him five minutes earlier. He is inconsiderate, insensitive, and while I don't generally advocate for doctors to leave the profession when there aren't enough to go around, Dr. McDonald needs to retire.
