I’ve been going to this doctor’s office for years. Dr. Perry has delivered all four of my children, and she has been absolutely amazing every single time. She was there for each of my deliveries, and everything went so smoothly. You can truly tell how experienced she is—she always stays calm and never seems stressed, which made me feel so comfortable and confident in her care. She is also my family doctor, and any health concerns I’ve had have always been properly addressed with the right treatment. I’ve consistently had great experiences with the front desk staff as well—they are always kind and welcoming. I especially enjoy speaking with Tina, who is incredibly sweet, helpful, and friendly. I’m so grateful for the care my family and I have received, and I would highly recommend this office.

They need more front end staff like Tina! She gets to know people, understands people and makes it feel like the most welcoming experience. Always greets me by my first name, and has been around since I was pregnant with both my kids, so we’ve seen a lot of each other. Now, anytime I need to get in with my kids she always helps even if it’s squeezing something in last minute. Westland Family Practice should be very proud to have Tina.

I have to say, previous reviews made me nervous about this clinic, but I have had nothing but good experiences over the last 6 months that my daughters and I have been patients here. It sometimes takes awhile to get in with the doctor, but for urgent child illnesses like ear aches or skin issues they have gotten my kiddos in quickly (same or next day) with a nurse to be assessed. And I myself have had some recent health concerns that have been dealt with promptly with a last minute doc appointment and/or nurse visits. Doctor Dunbar is great, as are his residents, nurses, and other team members that I have seen. I also have to give the front desk staff some proper recognition here as I see lots of bad reviews about them- I was terrified to call the office the first several times I had to book appointments, but each time I have called I have been treated kindly and respectfully. Each time I go into the office I am greeted kindly, and my children are always greeted nicely as well. I have had great experiences with Rhonda, Tina, Ashley and Bryce (at least I think these are the names that stick out over the last 6 months that I can remember). One staff, wish I got her name, even went as far as distracting my wild 2 year old at the sticker wall when she saw me struggle to fill out a form in the waiting room. Yes, sometimes it takes awhile to get through on the phone line, but its a busy practice and everyone there seems to always be trying their best. I finally feel like I found a place I can trust with my families care. Thank you All.

I called on January 30 for a simple referral for a DEXA scan. This could have been done in 30 seconds over the phone. The receptionist (who was a little unprofessional over the phone) insisted that wasn't an option and said I'd have to come in person for the doctor to do any kind of paperwork. Instead I made an online appointment with TIA Health and got the referral after a couple minutes on the phone. Not sure if this is a policy the clinic has, or if the receptionist was just misinformed. I called the clinic first so my family doctor could bill for the visit. I can see where other reviewers are coming from with their criticism of the front staff, which is unfortunate because the doctors here are outstanding.

Dr.Perry is amazing! She has been my family doctor for as long as I can remember. The front desk ladies are delightful in my opinion. I've never had a problem, always get my call answered, in a polite tone. Every time I go in for an appointment I've been greeted with a smile! ☆Ronda & Bernie are beautiful, inside & out☆
