Sweet Pea Café & Playhouse

We went to Sweet Pea for the first time when our toddler was invited to a birthday party. There were kids ranging from aged 2-8 and they all had a great time. The space is large, bright and clean. The play houses are really cute and there are lots of different toys & sets inside of them. We didn't spend time in the cafe area, as we were in the private party room in the back with the playhouses. Great space to hold events for kiddos. Private entrance/exit, bathroom, tables & chairs. You have to order the food from them and are only allowed to bring in outside cakes for birthdays. The food is all vegan, and was pretty tasty. The venue is wheelchair accessible.

We had a really wonderful morning at Sweet Pea Cafe & Playhouse! This is such a great concept for parents in Edmonton. The food and drinks were delicious – my tea was perfect, and the muffins were fresh and tasty. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which always makes an experience better. The play area is fantastic and kept the kids entertained for the time of our visit. I did notice, however, that the baby toy section could use a good deep clean. The bigger play structures seemed fine, but the smaller, chewable toys for babies were looking a bit grubby. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be back. I'm confident that this fantastic little spot is just one deep clean away from being absolutely perfect!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful experience at Sweet Pea Café & Playhouse! The play space is clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully designed with so many imaginative play areas that kept my child engaged the entire time. The environment feels safe, welcoming, and perfect for toddlers and preschoolers. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the café area provided a relaxing space for parents while the kids played. Everything was beautifully maintained, and it was clear that a lot of care has gone into creating such a special place for families. My daughter had an amazing time, and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend Sweet Pea to any parents looking for a fun, engaging, and family-friendly outing in Edmonton!
