Bairro Martial Arts Academy South

My son has been attending jiujitsu classes at Bairro for the past 9 months and myself and my other son have recently started the kickboxing classes. Chase, Stefan, and rest of the Bairro coaches are all extremely skilled and very encouraging. My family has experienced first hand that regardless of your age, fitness level, or skill, everyone is welcome. I would 100 percent recommend Bairro to anyone!

i’m in my first two weeks at Bairro martial arts and so far really enjoying the classes. The smaller class sizes allow for more detail in my training and i have been getting a lot of good pointers from David and Chase. highly recommend over some of the more busy gyms where instructors focus on some students more than others! Great environment.

It’s been many years since practising martial arts and I think about rejoining every year. Finally I decided to take the jump as Bairro was recommended heavily to me. After my first trial class, I found out why. The group is great! The atmosphere is awesome. Coach David and coach Chase are both excellent. They are extremely knowledgeable and very personable. Definitely a great group of guys. Well worth it 10/10 recommend

We have had such an amazing experience with Barrio Martial Arts! Watching my son's confidence grow and seeing how much he enjoys being on the mat has been incredible. The patience, understanding, and dedication the coaches show the kids is truly unmatched. They create an environment where children feel supported, encouraged, and safe to learn at their own pace. The coaches do an amazing job balancing structure with fun, and you can tell they genuinely care about every child who walks through the doors. We are so grateful to be part of the Barrio Martial Arts community and excited to see my son continue to grow in the next classes!

Our son has recently started classes for Jiu Jitsu and he is absolutely loving it! He asks to go to his classes all the time. So far he has worked with Chase and Stephan, they are both so wonderful with him. (Especially since hes only 4 years old and easily distracted or just sometimes doesnt understand what they are asking of him). Truly a wonderful place to send your kids.
