The Ludus Martial Arts Academy

My son recently did a free trial class for Brazilian jujitsu at Ludus and we were SO impressed! My son has no prior experience with martial arts, but the coaches made him feel immediately at ease. The kids in the class made him feel welcome; a few of them introduced themselves and showed him the ropes. Justin (the head coach) knows what he’s doing! He’s extremely friendly and dedicated to his craft. The whole gym has an air of family, just super awesome energy. Right after the class my son said, “I want to sign up for this class!” We’re super excited to continue to make connections, work hard, and learn new skills. If you’re looking for a respectful, welcoming environment where your kids can learn martial arts, Ludus is your spot!

This is a great place to train. Justin is a great coach and has built an excellent gym, community and training environment. For anyone to thrive in. The people here are very friendly. The training is high level with knowledgeable coaches. And you will always leave with a smile on your face.

We are in our third month at Ludus, and it has been amazing. I started my son and nephew in both the kids, Ju jitsu and Kids, Mma. We were struggling with their relationship constant arguing and thought getting them into something would help them branch out and make new friends. Their relationship has dramatically improved, and a new confidence in each of them has emerged. The coaches are outstanding with the kids they take time for individual coaching even when the classes are bigger in size. We have quickly understood Ludas treats everyone like family it was a very smooth transition into the routine, and even as a mom on the benches, I have been greeted with open arms. I am forever grateful for Ludas being my sons first steps into the martial art world and will be looking forward to joining my younger boy when he is of age. I can't recommend this gym enough. If you are looking to start your fitness journey for you or your kids, Ludas is where you need to be.

Justin is a great coach. Ludus has very high level training partners but also can help you reach your goals as a beginner.

I trained with the Ludus team for about five months. I can confidently say that this is a top-notch gym. It's a great group of people with an inviting culture that makes training enjoyable. Coach Justin is an extremely high-level instructor who is able to break down technique in a way that is simple, easy to grasp and apply to your own game. I highly recommend checking out the Ludus!
