Me and my son go to Eye-deology Vision Care for our eye exams. Dr. Kurji is a good optometrist especially for my neurodivergent son. She is professional and good at what she does, and she makes my son’s exam very comfortable and the experience memorable.

We had a wonderful experience at Eye-deology Vision Care. We came in with our 3-year-old child, and I was honestly worried about how the visit would go — but everything turned out much better than expected. Dr. Jade McLachlin and her assistant Lily Zub were incredibly kind, patient, and professional. They quickly found the right approach to our child, made them feel comfortable, and the entire visit went smoothly without any tears. The diagnosis was made promptly, and treatment was clearly explained, which gave us a lot of reassurance. This visit meant a lot to our family, and we are truly grateful for the care we received. We now know exactly where to go in the future and will definitely be coming back if needed. Highly recommend!

I had an outstanding experience at Eye-deology Vision Care in Edmonton! The clinic is equipped with incredible, advanced technology that made my eye exam feel very thorough and precise. Dr. Jennifer Ash was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything in detail, making the entire eye exam comfortable and informative. After my exam, their optician helped me find the perfect pair of glasses. They were incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and made the whole process easy and enjoyable with personalized recommendations and expert fitting. If you’re looking for a trusted optometrist in Edmonton for a comprehensive eye exam and high-quality eyewear, I highly recommend Eye-deology Vision Care.

I attended my eye exam this morning and, regrettably, was not aware that my insurance coverage eligibility begins on March 22, 2026. I had assumed it was already active based on my previous visit to Dr. Kurji two years ago. I fully acknowledge that this was my oversight, and I understand that I was therefore required to pay for the appointment. However, what I found deeply upsetting was the response from the reception staff when I asked to rebook the appointment so that I could attend once my insurance becomes active. Despite being physically present at the clinic and respectfully requesting to reschedule, I was told that my only options were to proceed with the appointment or be charged a no-show fee. This was particularly disappointing given that I was present, on time, and attempting to resolve the matter responsibly. As a long-standing client since 2024, and someone who has referred three family members to this clinic, I expected a degree of understanding and customer care in this situation. Unfortunately, I did not feel welcomed or valued. The interaction left me feeling dismissed rather than supported as a client who made an honest mistake. As a result of this experience, I have made the decision to discontinue my care at this clinic, and my family members will also be seeking services elsewhere. While I hold Dr. Kurji in high professional regard, the lack of flexibility and empathy demonstrated by front-desk staff has outweighed that positive experience. I believe this situation reflects a broader issue with how clients are valued at this establishment. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve how similar situations are handled in the future.

Purchased Maui Jim sunglass lenses as prescribed with an assured delivery of two weeks! Now a month has passed, the whereabouts of my sunglasses or delivery date remain unknown. Learned today that the glasses to the best information available are now stuck somewhere in the US. I can't help but wonder if profits come ahead of eye care at Eye-deology Vision Care. Will the whole summer pass by before delivery? Or will I lose both the purchased lenses and my frames? Very, very disappointed.
