I had a positive experience at IRIS overall. The optician who helped me was truly next level. I believe her name was Sophia, though I may be mistaken as names are not my strong suit. She was personable, kind, patient, professional, and genuinely caring. She took the time to help without ever making me feel rushed and went above and beyond in terms of service. Good customer service is rare these days, and excellent service is almost unheard of, but she was excellent and deserves recognition for a job very well done. The optometrist I saw, Tyler, was also great. He was professional, knowledgeable, and kind, and he made me feel very comfortable throughout the appointment. He explained everything clearly and answered my questions in a way that was easy to understand, which I really appreciated. The store itself was clean, bright, and modern, and it felt very well organized and thoughtfully designed. The only downside during my visit was the experience at the front reception desk. The three ladies there did not do anything overtly wrong, but they did come across as a bit unprofessional and not especially polite, which was noticeable compared to the otherwise high level of care I received. Overall, I would still recommend IRIS, especially for the outstanding care provided by the optician and optometrist.
Melissa was beyond amazing! She helped me pick out 2 frames, one regular and one prescription sunglasses. She fully listened to me for my wants in frames, and helped me select 2 frames that beautifully compliment my face. She went above and beyond to contact a few labs to deal with my heavy prescription. She was so lovely to work with and I would recommend asking for her specifically! She is so kind and knowledgeable!
We were the customer here since last 2 years. Today’s experience in evening at this clinic was not good. We had to replace the lenses on the given frame for our child. We were told to come at 5 pm and waiting for minimum one hour. We happily waited for more than an hour in mall and walked around . After that, we went there in clinic to pick up the eye glass at given time. When we went to clinic and no one asked why we came there. After half an hour of standing around the store, someone said sit there. We waited another half an hour then after someone came with our eye glass and gave to us without any descriptions about that eye glass. Today, Customer service was so poor and not responsive. We were feeling so bad by seeing lack of time management and well customer service in the clinic. Looks like there was gap of communication between the staff who took order and who was doing delivery. We hope, you will improve on your client service experience, time management and quality of service delivery.
I’ve been coming to see Maria M. for the past few years and she is absolutely incredible. She always goes above and beyond to help me find the perfect pair of glasses. Her patience, honesty, and eye for style make the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free. Today was no exception — she took the time to make sure everything was just right and never rushed the process. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about their clients the way she does. If you’re looking for someone knowledgeable, kind, and truly dedicated to helping you look and feel your best, I highly recommend her. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my glasses! Thank you Maria.
I have never seen any glasses shop make glasses like Londonderry Eye Care now renamed, IRIS. Londonderry Eye Care's display glasses frames are regular and well fitting when you try them on. They look normal, like what you'd typically expect glasses to look like. After they put prescription lenses in the glasses frames, they flare out the temple of the glasses like the sides of a letter V. Then they curve the temple tips inward. The first glasses I purchased from them fit normally from display, but turned out like a V and was extremely ill-fitting. They were unable to adjust the frames properly, so I refunded the glasses and purchased a different pair, which also fit perfectly from display. When I picked up the glasses, they were once again shaped like a V and did not fit at all. I will never come back here again. Learn to make glasses properly. Here's a hint - GLASSES AREN'T SHAPED LIKE A V.
