We had a wonderful experience coming here to see Dr. Nathan Boyd, the cardiologist, for an echocardiogram. He was incredibly thorough and knowledgeable, taking the time to carefully explain everything to us and answer all of our questions. He was also extremely patient, kind, and reassuring throughout the entire appointment. The veterinary technicians were also wonderful. They were so gentle, compassionate, and helpful with her throughout the visit. We are incredibly grateful for the care and kindness everyone showed us yesterday. Overall, we are very thankful for our experience and are feeling very hopeful about the treatment plan Dr. Boyd has put together for her.

On September 1st our 10 year old French Bulldog, Zeppelin, was transferred here from our local vet; resulting in a two night stay of life saving care. At that point he had already been under vet care for three days. We were given a devastating potential diagnosis, so we arrived here in a bad state. From the second we walked through the door, we were put at ease with the kindness and compassion of the front end staff and through the emergency triage process. We were walked through every single step with patience and caring, never feeling rushed. The vets happily offered to fully explain (and repeat explaining when we needed) the processes and procedures, including risks, in great detail, to help us make the most informed decisions for our pet. It was meaningful to have them support our decisions while offering their professional opinion and experiences. The vet techs and support staff are absolute angels. From offering a blanket in the waiting room, sending pictures in his kennel, trying to hand feed when he had no interest in food, taking him outside for bathroom breaks, or being a phone call away at any hour to offer an update - these are only a few examples of how they go above and beyond. We believe the love and kindness they showed to our boy gave him comfort and strength to fight through when we could not be there for him. A major bonus to the experience was the visiting hours allowed when he was in a stable state: never rushed, and giving us special private time together. The discharge process included thorough conversation and detailed, straightforward written instructions to take home. They were also there for us after discharge with phone calls to answer new questions and address concerns. There will always be a seemingly large cost associated with a vet visit, but the value in level of service provided far exceeds that. The education, care and support that each staff member brings to the experience is unmatched. Facility environment is clean, calming, and organized. Their 24 hour service and access to the diagnostic and treatment equipment needed resulted in a successful outcome. Feeling like you can hand over complete trust to do what is best for your pet is something you cannot put a price on. It makes a difference to have people and a place that cares. Boreal truly made us feel like they were there to serve us and our pet in the best way they could. I would highly suggest this facility to any pet owner, and will choose them again in the future if necessary. Thank you all for giving us the greatest gift imaginable of more time, love and memories with our baby.

We had to make a very difficult decision here. All the people at boreal were very friendly and understanding. They let us take all the time we needed, and never rushed us. They explained everything to us as much as we needed so we could understand despite being grief stricken during the visit. It can't be easy seeing people go through this as often as they do, and I'm so glad they're all compassionate and understanding people. If there had to be a place I had to say goodbye to my puppy, I'm glad it was here. Thank you for the dignity you gave us and her, in her last moments.

The staff at Boreal did an amazing job with how they cared for our dog Weston. Even though it was sadly the end of her journey they did everything they could to make it as easy as possible. Through this difficult time they were supportive and caring. Thank you to everyone at Boreal for their amazing service and professionalism from beginning to end.

On a Friday evening, I had to bring my senior dog to Boreal on referral from our local veterinarian. From the moment we left our community we were cared for by the team at Boreal. Liz (I believe) called for updates on timing and greeted us with kindness from the moment we entered through the doors. We were quickly seen in triage to assess my lil man, and within the hour, we sat with Dr Justine Telawsky to do a preliminary assessment of our dog, which was done with incredible care and kindness. Diagnostic options and pricing were discussed and we chose a specialist to assess. The results were devastating, and Dr Justine sat with us and discussed options, as well as gave a realistic approach as to what we were dealing with. Not once did I feel rushed or like my questions (or tears) were an inconvenience to her. I left heartbroken that I’d be losing my boy soon, but felt incredibly heard, respected and that he was cared for and given the best chance and kindness from her and the entire team. Unfortunately, through no fault of theirs, I had to say goodbye to Archie less than 48 hours later, due to aggressive cancer. I am grateful that the team and Dr Justine were able to give me and Archie the love and kindness we needed at such a delicate time.
