Groat Veterinary Centre

The vet was very thorough going through all the possibilities of what could be wrong with my cat (10). He didn't push unneccary tests. It was found my cat has hyperthyroidism and we easily made a plan for management. All the support staff were so kind and caring with my kitty, and very empathetic that ri had my toddler in tow and did their most to accomodate out comfortability we hiked we waited for test results. Definitely recommend taking your pet here.

Beautiful, clean and quiet clinic. The staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The doctor was very patient, listened to all my concerns and explained everything thoroughly. The doctor was very thorough with his exam while also being very kind to my cat, which I very much appreciated- all the staff were super kind to my kitty. I could tell the staff showed genuine interest and care for their patients wellbeing. There are two different waiting areas for dogs and cats which is also super nice and convenient. Everything was fast and reasonably priced. Overall one of the best clinics I’ve been to the city so far, very pleased and impressed with my experience. Thank you for taking care of my kitty! ❤️

My large dog had her spay surgery at this clinic, and everything went even better than I could have hoped for (I was very nervous for her!). Not only is this the most reasonably priced clinic for spaying and neutering—I actually made an Excel spreadsheet comparing prices across clinics in the Edmonton area—but they also took exceptional care of her. They even checked her oral health, cleaned plaque from her canine teeth, and provided our family with a Virbac toothbrush and toothpaste (the crème de la crème of pet dental care brands), all free of charge! Overall, I am extremely happy with this clinic. Having my dog spayed was long overdue, and they made the entire experience as smooth and stress-free as possible. Thank you and all the best, Groat Veterinary Centre!

Our animals have received exceptional care at Groat Veterinary Centre. We do rescue work and we've never run across a more caring staff and veterinarians. They are always willing to help us save or care for an animal. They are the best.

I've had only 4 animals in my adult life. All of them trained to be a support animal for myself. Each one of them had their own story. Two were rescues, and two, including my current companion I've had with me since they were babies. Today we took our dog to be neutered, and the experience was very heartwarming. I was emotional, but they were exceptional. I needed help to understand a few things, and Kelsey clarified them. She and Lorel were fantastic. Knowing that they were right about the communicating back and forth, keeping me in the loop. I didn't have any doubts. I felt reassured. When scheduling my dogs appointment, it was easy. I had received a quote low$-high$ and they were right on the mark. Two days later I called to book my dogs appointment and they got me in the next day. Today was efficient and I was able to bring him home to recover without any trouble. He's doing well and I would absolutely recommend bringing g your animal here. The separation of species was a relief as we don't have any socialization with cats. And the staff deserve a raise!! Thank you for taking such good care of my furry friend.
